Chief Executive Urgent Care 24
Kate joined Urgent Care 24 in 2011 with a strong background in delivering and commissioning NHS services and was appointed as Chief Executive in 2014.
Following an early interest in health improvement, Kate started out in health promotion, working in community settings. This led to policy and managerial roles and the establishment of Bury and Rochdale Health Action Zone. Kate spent time leading on health improvement at NHS Executive Northwest then took on the role of Director of Development at Salford PCT, focusing on whole system service redesign, shifting services from hospital to the community and leading the design of Salford's integrated health and social care centres. Between 2006 and 2008 Kate worked on a freelance basis, undertaking intermediate roles and organisational improvement work.
